ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb announced that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to address a public gathering in Mansehra on January 22 (Monday).
Marriyum shared the information on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the event was organized by Capt Safdar and Sardar Yousuf. She mentioned that Nawaz Sharif will focus on the vision of development and addressing prevalent issues during the gathering.
Marriyum clarified that Maryam Nawaz, too, will address the public gathering.
In a separate statement, PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz expressed confidence that her party would secure more votes than other political parties in the upcoming general elections.
Speaking in NA-119, Maryam emphasized her commitment to the constituency’s people, stating that it is her responsibility to ensure progress for every individual in the area.
Acknowledging the support received during challenging times, she pledged to set a record in terms of serving the masses.
Meanwhile, As Pakistan gears up for the upcoming general elections on February 8, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has officially announced its list of candidates for National Assembly seats.
The party, which commenced its election campaign earlier this week, disclosed that it will contest on 212 National Assembly constituencies across the country. Notably, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif is set to participate in the polls from NA-15 (Mansehra) and NA-130 (Lahore) constituencies.
