The employees of an Indian information technology firm are in for a pleasant surprise, as their boss, Murali, the head of Ideas2IT Technology Services Private Limited, recently gifted brand new cars to 50 staff members.
According to India Today, Murali’s generous gesture is an expression of gratitude towards those employees who have been steadfast supporters since the inception of the Chennai-based IT firm.
Going beyond the car gifts, Murali has taken an additional step to recognize and reward the loyalty of long-term employees. He announced that a portion of shares, amounting to 33%, would be allocated to these dedicated staff members.
Additionally, Murali initiated a wealth-sharing program, exemplifying his commitment to acknowledging and reciprocating the hard work and support of the company’s personnel.
Explaining his motivation, Murali mentioned that he and his partner had previously held all the shares, but they have now opted to convert them, to distribute ownership to deserving long-term employees.
This reflects the company’s philosophy of valuing its workforce and fostering a culture of appreciation.
Notably, this is not the first time the company has recognized its employees in such a manner. In the previous year, the company gifted 100 cars as a token of appreciation for the dedicated efforts of its staff.
Murali’s initiatives not only symbolize corporate generosity but also underscore the importance of acknowledging and rewarding employee loyalty in the business world.
