Jamaat-e-Islami announced on Thursday that they will organize a bike rally to express support for the Palestinians in the ongoing Israeli conflict in Gaza. The party criticized the apparent silence of the PML-N and PPP toward the Zionist state.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, JI Karachi Chief, stated in a press conference at Idara Noor-e-Haq that the Gaza bike rally is scheduled for November 26. The rally will commence from Mazaar-e-Quaid to Teen Talwar, Clifton.
Warning the interim government, he urged them not to impose anyone on the people of Karachi and advocated for allowing the people to decide through fair and legal elections.
Referring to the PPP and MQM, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman labeled them as “two sides” of the same coin, accusing both parties of contributing to the deterioration of Karachi over the past three decades. He alleged that the recent alliance between MQM and PML-N is against the interests of Karachi and its people. Additionally, he claimed that the PPP and PML-N are quietly supporting Israel in its conflict with Gaza.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman called on the country’s power corridors to refrain from manipulating elections and urged the promotion of genuine democracy. He emphasized that the people of Karachi have already rejected associates of K-Electric and other mafias.
