In the second match of the ICC World Cup 2023 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, the Netherlands pacers made an impressive start by taking three early wickets, putting Pakistan on the defensive with an initially low score.

The Netherlands’ bowlers wasted no time and quickly put Pakistan on the backfoot by dismissing Imamul Haq (15), skipper Babar Azam (5), and Fakhar Zaman (12) in the opening 10 overs.
Aryan Dutt made a breakthrough by removing Saud Shakeel, and subsequently, Bas de Leede took the wickets of Mohammad Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, and Hasan Ali, disrupting Pakistan’s innings.
Despite the early setbacks, the partnership of Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel steadied Pakistan’s innings and led the team’s recovery.
