Video Game
X, formerly known as Twitter, is currently testing a Twitch-like video game streaming feature.
Elon Musk shared a post in which he played a gaming handle, showcasing the new game streaming feature with an hour of gameplay from Blizzard’s Diablo PvP arena. As of now, the stream is watchable, but there are currently no options to adjust the video quality.
When one of the users pointed out, “It’s high-pitched. There is a flicker too,” the owner of X responded, “Haha, we need to fix that.”
During the period from June 2020 to June 2021, there were 91 million gamers on the platform, generating 70 gaming-related tweets per second.
Musk wrote, “Just a quick test of X video game streaming,” from his gaming handle. Although the original livestream lasted for over an hour, Musk shared a short clip through his official handle, stating, “Tested the X video game streaming system last night. It works. Will attempt to complete a Tier 100 Nightmare dungeon tonight live on this platform.”
