KARTARPUR/ISLAMABAD: A group of eight foreign diplomats recently embarked on an intriguing journey to Kartarpur. It is a place of great spiritual significance to Sikhs. This visit proved to be both captivating and deeply meaningful.
The diplomats were greeted with a warm and gracious welcome, commencing their exploration from Langar Hall. The hosts served the diplomats with complimentary meals.

Expressing their gratitude, the diplomats thanked to Pakistan for its excellent hospitality and for making their visit exceptional. They were impressed by Pakistan’s efforts in ensuring the well-being of minority communities.
The authorities responsible for overseeing the Kartarpur Corridor took meticulous care to acquaint the diplomats with the site’s rich history and significance. Additionally, the diplomats were presented with tokens of appreciation by the management team.

Meanwhile, India expelled top diplomat of Canada with a five days notice on Tuesday. India took the action after Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau blamed Indian government for the gruesome murder of Sikh leader in Canada.
Canadian PM Trudeau accused India of killing a Sikh activist. It triggered a row with Ottawa and New Delhi. On Tuesday, both expelled senior diplomats, sending relations between the two countries plunging.

Sikhs for Justice calls for action against India
Earlier, the pro-Khalistan organization based in Canada, Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), demanded expulsion of Indiaโs High Commissioner to Canada, Sanjay Verma.
Notably, Hardeep Singh Nijjar was a prominent pro-Khalistan Sikh leader. He was also a strong advocate for an independent Sikh homeland _ Khalistan.
He was tragically gunned down on June 18 outside a Sikh cultural center in Surrey, British Columbia.
