STOUGHTON: A missing woman from Massachusetts, Emma Tetewsky, was discovered alive in Borderland State Park on Monday after being trapped in mud for several days.
Tetewsky, 31 years old, was reported missing by her family on June 26. Since she didn’t have access to a car and her cell phone was not in her possession, it was believed she was still in the area.
Hikers in the state park could hear Tetewsky calling for help from a swampy area, but they couldn’t get to her on foot. As a result, they told the cops where she was. Stoughton Police said that in order to reach Tetewsky, three officers had to walk 50 feet from the shore through thick brush and swamp. She may have been stuck there for at least three days, according to estimates.
The Easton Police Department successfully reached Tetewsky and free her from the mud. Despite suffering serious injuries, she was conscious and alert. Tetewsky was then transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment, as stated by the police.
Stoughton Police expressed their gratitude to the numerous agencies involved in the week-long search for Emma. They also thanked the public for their unwavering hope and support. They also emphasizing that her safe location would not have been possible without their assistance
The Easton Police Department was able to get to Tetewsky and pull her out of the mud. Even though she was hurt badly, she was awake and aware. The cops said that Tetewsky was missing and then taken to Good Samaritan Hospital to be treated.
