Abrarul Haq apologises for London concert

The renowned singer and former leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Abrarul Haq, has apologised for attending a concert in London.

Former PTI leader Abrarul Haq expressed regret for being in London for a concert and said, “If Pakistanis are not pleased, I should not have come to London.”

Abrarul Haq spoke about his participation in the concert and said that he went to London to promote a hospital that is connected to the Sahara Trust.

He went on to say that the concert had been planned months before his departure from the PTI and that he had previously discussed it at a news conference.

Abrarul Haq expressed his apologies if anyone’s sentiments were hurt by his actions.

He emphasised that he was unwilling to give in to any pressure that would cause him to terminate relations with the party and said that he had devoted a large amount of his life—roughly 13–14 years—to PTI.
