Vinay Verma and Preeti Verma, an Indian couple residing in Chhattisgarh, named their twin baby boy and baby girl Covid and Corona. The delivery was successful but numerous difficulties because of the lockdown so the couple wanted to cherish the achievement of having a successful delivery during the lockdown having them devoid of any help from the relatives which is why they named their kids Corona and Covid.
“Besides this, these names are beautiful in their own, with Corona being Latin for crown,”
added Mr. Verma.
“Also, we want the fear associated with these names to end and the public to focus on sanitation and hygiene.”
