Co-creator Ryan Murphy announced that Kim Kardashian, a star of reality television, will take up acting in the upcoming 12th season of FX network’s anthology series “American Horror Story.”
Kardashian will be co-starring with Emma Roberts in the show, which is based on a book called “Delicate Condition” set to release in August. According to online ads, the book is a “thriller that follows a woman convinced a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens.”
According to author Andrea Bartz, the show is a “feminist update to ‘Rosemary’s Baby’.” In a statement, Ryan Murphy mentioned that Halley Feiffer, a writer for “American Horror Story,” has created a role that is both fun and terrifying, specifically for Kim Kardashian. He also added that the upcoming season is unique and ambitious. The news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Kim Kardashian rose to fame after appearing on the reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” alongside her sisters for 14 years until it ended in 2021. The Kardashian family now appears on “The Kardashians” on Hulu.
