Student From Thar Desert sets world record in Chemistry

Rohan Kumar, a 9th-grade student from Thar Desert Sindh, has set a world record in Chemistry by arranging the chemical elements of the periodic table in the shortest possible time.

The details show that Rohan achieved this record at Islamabad Science Festival (ISL) held on February 13, after arranging all periodic chart elements in just 1 minute and 58 seconds.

Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafaqat and KP Education Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai attended the event and motivated all the participants.

This record was previously achieved by another Pakistani girl named Natalia Najam. Natalia completed the same task in 2 minutes and 42 seconds. Formerly, an Indian economics professor Meenakshi Agarwal held this title by completing this task in 2 minutes and 42 seconds.

The periodic table is a tabular array of the chemical elements organized by atomic number, from the element with the lowest atomic number, hydrogen, to the element with the highest atomic number, Oganesson. The atomic number of an element is the number of protons in the nucleus of an atom of that element.
