PML-N Comes Out In Open Against Two ‘Biased’ SC Judges

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) ruling party has raised concerns about the impartiality of two judges from the Supreme Court. According to the PML-N, the conduct of those judges is biased towards the party.

The party’s Interior Minister, Rana Sanaullah, shared a number of tweets on Twitter to voice his opinion. He claimed that the attitude of these two judges is biased regarding PML-N.

While referring to both justices by name, the minister stated that one served as a supervisory judge in the case against Nawaz Sharif and that the party does not anticipate justice.

According to Sanaullah, it is a legal and judicial custom for controversial judges to voluntarily withdraw from hearing cases.

The senior cabinet member continued, “The PML-legal N’s staff would seek the two judges to withdraw themselves from the benches.

Cabinet made this statement after hearing the cases of Nawaz Sharif and other party officials.”

It should be noted that the national bar associations have declared their intention to petition the Supreme Judicial Council.

This petition is made to remove a Supreme Court judge over the Parvez Elahi audio leak incident.
