Mishandling Of Pro-Pakistan Afghan Govt Triggered Terrorism, Says Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and PTI chairman Imran Khan claimed that mishandling of pro-Pakistan government in Afghanistan led to a sudden rise in terrorism in Pakistan.
Khan stated this through his video-link address to a seminar on resurgence of terrorism in Pakistan.
Pointing out reasons behind the US evacuation of Afghanistan, Khan said that nobody has the solution to suicide bombing.

Former prime minister said that when Taliban came into power in Afghanistan, they asked the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan militants to go back to Pakistan.
Imran Khan said that at that time, a peaceful settlement was needed the most.
He said that the PTI government was against interfering in the Afghan affairs.
Khan feared that the surge in terrorist attacks in the country will affect Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the hardest.
PTI chairman said that the tribal belt of Pakistan has suffered the most during the last wave of terrorism in the country.
Earlier, PTI leader Murad Saeed said that not a single drone attack was carried out in Afghanistan from Pakistan. He said that before PTI regime, more than 400 drone strikes were carried out.
Murad Saeed said that the PTI government did not endorse the US policy of drone attacks in Afghanistan from Pakistan’s territory.
