Have a problem with WhatsApp? This new feature will solve all your problems

The platform, which is owned by Meta, has created a feature that enables users to link their WhatsApp account with an additional Android device.

By making it available to selected beta testers, they are testing it.

The new feature, known as companion mode, will reportedly allow users to connect up to four devices simultaneously, meaning they can connect more than two mobile devices to their WhatsApp accounts.

Once a WhatsApp account is linked to a new smartphone, the report claims that the chat history on the primary device will be synced across all other linked devices.

Additionally, when using WhatsApp on a connected smartphone, end-to-end encryption will be used for both calls and private messages.

This feature is currently only available to beta testers, but it will presumably be made available to more users over the next few weeks.
