The rapper, 45, has come under fire for spreading hate speech and anti-Semitic comments.
The athletic brand posted an official statement about the partnership’s demise on social media on Tuesday.
After making a barrage of antisemitic comments on social media for weeks and appearing on national television, rapper-turned-fashion entrepreneur Kanye West recently challenged Adidas to terminate him.

On the Drink Champs podcast earlier this month, the rapper, who now legally goes by the name “Ye,” said, “I can say antisemitic s—- and Adidas cannot drop me. Ye believed he was invulnerable because he has been working with Adidas since 2013 on his wildly successful and extremely costly Yeezy shoe line.
After all, according to investment firm Cowen, Yeezy products account for 4% to 8% of Adidas’ total sales. It was much more significant for Ye because it contributed $1.5 billion to his personal worth.
