Apple Watch saved Woman’s Life After being ‘buried alive’ in a shallow grave by husband

In a terrible incident that took place in Washington, US, a woman who had been buried alive by her husband, dug herself out of a shallow grave and then called 911 through her Apple Watch to request help.

Young Sook An, 42, was reportedly stabbed by her husband, tied in duct tape, and buried alive in a pit in the woods; however, she was able to free herself.

She used her Apple Watch to call 911 and ask for help. The incident happened in the late afternoon on October 16.

The couple’s daughter claims that although he did not live with her, he would come over to do laundry.

On October 16, at about 1:00 p.m., he attacked her in the residence they once shared.

The pair is going through a divorce and was reportedly at odds about finances.

Young Sook had duct tape still wrapped around her neck, lower face, and ankles when she eventually managed to get away and notify the police, according to a Thurston County Superior Court document.

Although he has not yet been officially charged, Chae Kyong An reportedly faces accusations of first-degree attempted murder, first-degree kidnapping, and first-degree assault.

He was lodged in the county jail on Tuesday, and as of Wednesday, he has been held without bond.
