The by-elections 2022 results reveal the highest voter turnout is 44.22% in Multan- IV, National assembly constituency. Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), won six of the seven seats he fought for in the 2022 by-elections on Sunday. He also defeated Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Punjab, which won only two seats.
Ali Musa Gilani defeated Meher Bano Qureshi, the daughter of PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi, to win the NA-157 Multan-IV seat for the PPP.
The by-elections are taking place today for eight National Assembly sets and three Punjab Assembly sets. NA-22 (Mardan-III), NA-24 (Charsadda-II), NA-31 (Peshawar-V), NA-108 (Faisalabad-VIII), NA-118 (Nankana Sahib-II), NA-237 (Malir-II), NA-239, (Korangi), Karachi-I, and NA 157 are the National Assembly constituencies (Multan-IV).
The provincial elections will be held in the PP-139 (Sheikhupura-V), PP-209 (Khanewal VII), and PP-241 districts (Bahawalnagar-V).
