Punjab CM Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi ordered an investigation into the Nishtar hospital bodies issue on Friday.
The investigation was ordered by the Punjab CM, who was upset about the situation. Strict action needs to be taken against individuals in charge of handling bodies improperly.
Any civilised society cannot tolerate the desecration of human remains because it is cruel tossing human remains onto a hospital’s roof.
Elahi commanded that the report be finished right away and that the culprits be brought to justice.
On Thursday, Multan’s Nishtar Hospital’s roof was home to unclaimed bodies that had been abandoned, according to Punjab Chief Minister’s (CM) Advisor Chaudhry Zaman Gujjar.
The videos depicted the horrifying conditions in the mortuary-filled Nishtar Hospital. Some remains were seen being dumped on the floor and an old wooden cot in the videos and photos.
The hospital management sprang into action and opened an investigation after the discovery of unclaimed dead.
Saqib Zafar, the additional chief secretary for South Punjab, made note of the unidentified remains.
