Pakistan has the potential to win the T20 World Cup in 2022, according to renowned pacer Wasim Akram, if they can manage their flimsy middle order.
After struggling in the T20 Asia Cup 2022 and the recently finished series against England, Pakistan’s middle order has recently come under scrutiny.

In the continuing tri-nation series in New Zealand, the middle-order vows persisted, but Pakistan has advanced to the series finals.
Wasim spoke with the media during a brief stop at an event in Dubai “India has a strong batting order. But Bumrah’s replacement has still not been chosen. Pakistan’s middle class is having trouble. Pakistan has one of the best opening pairs and a very good bowling assault if the middle order performs well. They, therefore, stand a chance provided they can manage the middle order.”
“I want to see Pakistan, India, and Australia in the semifinals. South Africa, though, might be a surprise “He Further Added.
Pakistan will face India in their T20 World Cup 2022 opener on October 23 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
