King Charles III expressed a desire to visit Pakistan soon

King Charles III has expressed an interest in visiting Pakistan soon.

The interest was evident at his first-ever public reception honouring the British-South Asian community at the Palace of Holyrood House in Edinburgh.

During the event, Zeeshan Shah, the honorary ambassador-at-large on investment, met with King Charles III.

Several prominent British Asians from across the country attended. Other notable attendees included Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK Moazzam Ahmed Khan, Bestway CEO Lord Zameer Choudrey, Aneel Mussarat, and Lord Jitesh Gadhia, among others.

Ambassador Shah discussed his role and current initiatives to promote trade and investment between Pakistan and the United Kingdom with the King.

He also thanked the King for his ongoing support to Pakistan’s most vulnerable people through his charity, the British Asian Trust, particularly for the emergency relief assistance his foundation has provided to flood victims in Pakistan.
