Imran Khan challenged incumbent government to arrest him Instead of threats

Former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan challenged the incumbent government on Sunday to arrest and imprison him rather than threaten him.

“This is the movement of real freedom, I am ready to go to jail and my nation as well. We are not afraid of jail”, Imran Khan declared during a speech to a public gathering in Taxila.

He made these remarks after obtaining interim bail in a case involving his controversial remarks against a judge and senior police officials at an Islamabad rally on August 20. The PTI chairman approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Sunday after his arrest warrants were issued after he failed to appear before the court.

Imran Khan slammed Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Nawaz Sharif, alleging that they were given NRO.

“Ishaq Dar is a bigger coward than Nawaz Sharif.” “The powers that be promised him NRO, or he would not have returned to the country,” he claimed.

According to the PTI chairman, the PPP and PML-N quadrupled Pakistan’s debt from 2008 to 2018, but they have now been given NRO again.

In response to the missing cypher, the former premier stated that Maryam Nawaz has given the cypher new life.

“I want to thank Maryam Nawaz for giving a new life to the cypher issue. I want to thank you for proving my statements [regarding the cypher] true,” said Imran Khan.

“They staged a new drama now that the cypher is missing. Maryam Bibi! The cypher is not missing but you should ask the Foreign Ministry as the copy of the cypher is still there. The original copy of the cypher is still present in the Foreign Office (FO),” Imran Khan Continued.

The PTI chief chastised the incumbent government for skyrocketing inflation and fuel prices. He forecasted that gas prices would rise by up to 250% during the winter season.

He blamed the rulers for assuming power in order to have their corruption cases dismissed, and he claimed that they amended laws in order to obtain legal protection for continuing corrupt practises.

The ex-PM also claimed that the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) was acting as a servant of the current rulers. He also stated that they would be unable to defeat the PTI in free and fair elections.

As he finished up his preparations, he challenged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah to get ready for the upcoming PTI protest.

“I knew about their plan but they are completely unaware of mine. I am preparing for it and I will suddenly give you a call. You have to be prepared.”
