In anticipation of a possible Pakistan Kissan Ittehad (PKI) protest, the federal government has sealed the Red Zone.
Details reveal that except for Margalla Road, all access points to the Red Zone have been sealed. The traffic signal indicated that Ayub Chowk, Express Chowk, and Nadra Chowk are closed and added that one lane is open from Serena Chowk for entry into Red Zone.
The Red Zone won’t be open to visitors, according to the police. Anyone attempting to enter the Red Zone would face harsh punishment, officials have ordered.
To ensure the security of the Red Zone, the government has ordered the Anti-Riots Force’s deployment.

As a result of the government increased the price of electricity to Rs. 36 per unit, the farmers who are protesting have been calling for a decrease in the power tariff.
The protesters have also called for the removal of taxes on tractors and farming implements as well as subsidies for petrol and fertiliser.
On September 20, a group of farmers arrived in Islamabad, affecting the city’s flow of traffic. Srinagar Highway, G-9, G-10, and Ninth Avenue all had heavy traffic.
