Pak vs Eng: Naseem Shah admitted to hospital after contracting a viral infection

Key pacer Naseem Shah was unable to play in the first game in the city due to a chest infection, which was a significant setback for the Pakistani team before the Lahore leg.

A Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) representative reported that Shah, who had been brought to the hospital earlier due to a fever, is now feeling better.

His condition was determined by a variety of tests, including a dengue test, according to those who spoke earlier.

He is feeling better now, and the medical panel will decide whether or not he will play in additional games after reviewing his medical reports.

Shah will play today, contrary to earlier reports, after being rested for the last three games.

The final three games of Pakistan’s seven-game series versus England will be played at Lahore’s famous Gaddafi Stadium, moving the action from Karachi.

The result of Shah’s medical reports will determine whether he plays in the other games, according to a PCB spokesperson.

Seven matches totaling four in Karachi and three in Lahore are being played between the teams. At the renowned Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the action will get underway today.
