Police guard killed in gun attack on PTI MPA’s House

On Monday, a gunshot incident targeting a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA happened in Dera Ismail Khan.

Aghaz Ikramullah Khan Gandapur, a member of the PTI in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly, was shot last night in the Kulachi tehsil of the city.

Two police officers who were providing protection at Najmul Husnain’s home, according to District Police Officer (DPO) Najmul Husnain, were hurt during the shooting incident.

After the gun attack, the unknown attackers were able to flee.

One of the wounded veterans passed away from his wounds as he was being taken to a hospital. The other police officer, who was taken to the hospital, is getting medical attention.

According to the police, the PTI MPA was not home when the shooting occurred. The tehsil chairman’s younger brother, Araiz Khan, and other family members were present in the residence, though.
