The interim bail of Imran Khan, the leader of the PTI and a former prime minister, has been increased by a district and sessions court in Islamabad in connection with a case involving the alleged violation of Section 144 in Islamabad on August 20 during the party’s rally.
The PTI chairman and other PTI leaders were arrested at the Aabpara police station.
Imran Khan’s attorney, Dr. Babar Awan, arrived in court and asked for his client’s exemption from having to attend in person.
