Police announced on Friday that the veteran writer Ayaz Amir’s daughter-in-law had been discovered deceased in the Chak Shehzad neighborhood of the city.
Sarah, the woman, was allegedly slain at home by her husband, Amir’s son, according to the authorities.
According to a police official, forensic teams and senior officers of the Islamabad Police are on the scene.
Police stated that the event was under investigation and that they would disclose any new information.
Shah Nawaz, Amir’s son, has been detained in connection with his alleged involvement in the homicide, according to the police.
