After receiving threatening calls, Sheikh Rasheed filed a Case against unknown persons.

Former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed reported receiving threatening calls at the landline number associated with his home, and a case has been filed against unknown persons.

As a result of receiving threatening phone calls, Sheikh Rasheed, a former interior minister and leader of the Awami Muslim League, filed a complaint against the unknown people at the Kohsar police station.

In his complaint, Sheikh Rasheed claimed to have received threatening calls from unknown persons.

“I have been receiving death and kidnapping threats from unknown phone numbers,”  he said.

The former minister has also claimed that he reported getting threatening calls to all other relevant agencies, excluding the police.

Following the complaint, a case was filed under section 306 and Telegraph Act 25-D against unknown persons.
