To represent Pakistan in the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif flew from London to New York.
He will hold important bilateral meetings with the leaders of other countries when he is in New York.
Today, PM Shehbaz Sharif will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron and attend the United Nations Secretary General’s reception.
Additionally, the PM will meet with the presidents of Spain and Austria. He will meet Charles Michael, the president of the European Union Council.
The summit on global food security will also include participation from the prime minister. Tomorrow, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet with President of the World Bank David Mills and Managing Director of the International Monitoring Fund Kristalina Georgieva (Wednesday).
Shehbaz Sharif will meet privately with Iranian President Seyed Ibrahim Raisi in addition to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
On Wednesday, he will host a luncheon in honour of the Turkish president and his spouse.
Meetings with the president of the UN General Assembly, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, and Nobel winner Malala Yousafzai are among the prime minister’s other activities.
