ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) reduces its air-fare for China from today.
According to PIA’s notification, the national flag carrier has reduced fares to China by 10 per cent while Pakistani students going China will get up to 22 percent discount .
The students will be allowed to carry 80kg of luggage instead of 40k.
Pakistan International Airline said the new airfare will be applicable immediately.
The PIA spokesperson further added that the airline is running two flights a week to the Chinese cities of Chengdu and Xi’an.
Thousands of Pakistani students are studying in China. Many of them returned to Pakistan during the Covid pandemic and they now want to resume their study in China.
Meanwhile, China is also a leading trade partner of Pakistan and PIA’s discount in its fare will be beneficial for the businesspersons.
