Bollywood’s Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are getting married next month. The couple shared their marriage plans with their fans and friends a few years ago but kept on delaying their big day due to the Covid pandemic.
The now deleted tweet was posted by an Indian journalist Prashant Jain of Navbharat Times who had accidentally tagged singer Ali Zafar instead of the Mirzapur star Ali Fazal.
Responding to him, Richa Chadha said, “Ali Zafar is a Pakistani singer/actor, who is already married,” along with a thinking face emoji.
She said that her fans and friends must know that she was getting married to Ali Fazal and not Ali Zafar.
The journalist quickly deleted the original tweet and corrected it with name of Ali Fazal, announcing their supposed wedding date. According to Times of India, the couple will tie the knot on October 6 with a reception the next day in Mumbai.
