ISPR: Five Pak Army soldiers martyred in North Waziristan IBO

According to the ISPR, Five terrorists including a terrorist commander were killed in the two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) that were conducted in the general regions of Boyya and Mir Ali districts.

Captain Abdul Wali, resident of Wana/South Waziristan District; Naib Subedar Nawaz, resident of Abbottabad; Havaldar Ghulam Ali, resident of Sargodha; Lance Naik Ilyas, resident of Mianwali; and Sepoy Zafar Ullah, resident of Mianwali, were caught in the line of fire and embraced martyrdom. (ISPR)

The ISPR officials further said that the terrorists that have been killed were actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent citizens. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists. The terrorist commander, Tufail was the mastermind behind multiple attacks in the area.

The ISPR officials concluded with the statement “Sanitisation of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers will not go unpunished”.
