Next week, China’s No. 3 leader will travel to Russia

According to official media on Sunday, China’s top legislator Li Zhanshu will visit Russia next week, making him the highest-ranking Communist Party politician to travel to the nation since Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.

In recent years, Beijing and Moscow have been closer than ever before, ratcheting up collaboration as part of what they call a “no limit relationship” and serving as a counterweight to the United States’ global supremacy.

The dynamic rays of the whirling aurora borealis are represented by the twists and turns of the tower.

As a result of Beijing’s refusal to criticize Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine and give diplomatic cover by criticizing Western sanctions and arms deliveries to Kyiv, tensions between China and the West have increased.

According to Xinhua, Li, the third-highest official in China, will go to Russia, Mongolia, Nepal, and South Korea from Wednesday (September 13) to Sunday (September 17) for official trips.

According to Xinhua, he will be in Vladivostok, Russia, on Monday for the start of the Eastern Economic Forum, which will last for four days.

It is thought that Li, 72, will step down from his Communist Party position during a historic meeting next month, where President Xi Jinping will likely clinch a record-breaking third term in office. Since the outbreak of CoVD-19 in early 2020, Xi has stayed in China.
