Zelenskiy says that world almost had a nuclear radiation accident in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated on Thursday that the world narrowly dodged a radioactive calamity at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear site after power was cut to the two still operational reactors.

Energoatom, Ukraine’s state nuclear business, reported that flames at an adjacent coal power station had cut power to the reactors at the complex. The corporation claimed that Russian “invaders” were to blame for the outage.

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy reported on Thursday that the world narrowly avoided a radiation accident at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear station in Ukraine when power was cut to the two remaining working reactors.

According to Energoatom, Ukraine’s state nuclear company, fires in the ash pits of a nearby coal power station have cut power to the reactors at the complex. The company claimed that Russian “invaders” were to blame for the service outage.
