Ministers from Pakistan and Singapore met on the sidelines of the 29th ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Ministerial Meeting in Cambodia and discussed Pakistan-Singapore bilateral ties, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said in a statement.
On global and regional problems of common concern, they decided to strengthen the discussion between their two countries as well as their collaboration in the area. Additionally, the two officials examined the possibility of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two nations.
According to Pakistan’s foreign minister, relations with Singapore, a significant partner in the ASEAN Regional Forum, are extremely important to the country. As part of this, he indicated a desire to strengthen the country’s ties with ASEAN countries.
Balakrishnan and Bilawal agreed to keep in touch to preserve the pace of bilateral ties, stressing the necessity of regular high-level encounters. At the 29th Ministerial Meeting of the ARF, Pakistan’s delegation is being led by FM Bilawal.
