Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the Pakistan Army helicopter that had been missing since Monday evening in Balochistan had crashed, and six soldiers were found dead.
Around 5:30 pm, the military helicopter went missing on its way from Quetta to Karachi. The people in the helicopter were in charge of helping people in the southwest of the country who had been affected by floods.
This year, Pakistan has been hit hard by heavy monsoon rains and deadly flooding, which have killed hundreds of people and caused a lot of damage, especially in Balochistan.
There, the army has helped with rescue and aid efforts. The ISPR said that the helicopter’s wreckage had been found in Musa Goth, Windar, Lasbela. It was said that “bad weather” was the cause of the accident, which is what the first investigation found.

The military’s media wing also said that all six officers and soldiers, including Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali, chose to die as martyrs.
Since mid-June, when the monsoon flooding started, it has killed almost 500 people in Pakistan, including at least 149 in Balochistan alone
