On Tuesday, the rupee continued to rise against the dollar in the interbank market, rising to 228 to the dollar. According to the Forex Association of Pakistan, the Pakistani rupee rose 84 paise to 238.84 rupees as of 10:30 am local time this morning (FAP)
Since Friday, the interbank market for the PKR has gained nearly Rs 2 in value. On Friday, it gained 57 paisas, and then 53 paisas in the first session of this weak.
Since July 16, the local currency has been steadily declining.
