Imran Khan’s swinging and shocking stance from default to nuclear bomb and ‘dismemberment’ of Pakistan into three parts

PM Shehbaz and political leaders have denounced Imran Khan’s statement saying he has gone mad after losing government

ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Imran Khan has, once again, issued a controversial and most critical statement, asserting the country will break into three parts if the establishment did not take the ‘right decisions’.

PTI chairman is issuing such stunning and conflicting statements from the day he had been ousted from the power through a no-confidence vote.

At beginning he raised alarm about default saying the ‘imported government’ will not be able to manage the economic matters perfectly. A few days later, Imran Khan said that instead of handing over the country (government) to what he often calls “thieves” _ the establishment must have thrown atom bomb.

Today, PTI chairman moved ahead with more stunning statement that Pakistan will break into three parts if the establishment did not take the right decisions.

What does he mean by the ‘right decisions’ _ to hold elections and keep the imported government leaders away from the power corridor. Because, if in the next elections, the parties in the allied government win majority seats and form the government once again, Imran Khan will not accept it and certainly call it a fraud and cheating.

The way the PTI chairman is targeting the establishment, judiciary, his rival leaders, media and others, it appears that he will not rest till the time he is brought back into the power.

What is the solution in this scenario _ the most practical solution to the political situation is that like the allied government, PTI chairman should also bring a no-confidence against the incumbent government and try to get majority in the National Assembly _ but this would not be possible without the support of the establishment and everyone in the power corridors knows it well.

Second option is that the government should announce new general elections, but would Imran Khan or political parties in the government accept the outcome of elections? Who would guarantee it?

Instead of talking about default, nuclear bomb, and breaking of Pakistan into three parts _ our political leaders should follow the path of democracy instead of relying totally on the establishment.

PM Shehbaz and Political Leaders Reaction to Imran Khan’s statement

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, reacting on Khan’s statement, said PTI chairman has gone mad from the day he had been removed from the power.

PM Shehbaz said the PDM used democratic path and PTI chairman must stop talking non-sense like anarchy, civil war, default, nuclear bomb and breaking Pakistan into three parts.

Following Imran Khan’s assertion, PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari condemned it and directed the party to hold a protest against Imran Khan across the country.

“This language is not of a Pakistani, but of Modi as no Pakistani could talk of tearing Pakistan into pieces,” he added.

Asif Zardari told Imran Khan that power is not everything, “be brave and do politics by standing on your own feet.”

“The desire to tear Pakistan into pieces can not be fulfilled until we and our decedents are alive, Pakistan will exist till the day of judgement,” vowed Asif Zardari.

Condemning Imran Khan’s statement, PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry said only a mentally ill person could talk in such way.

“In the past Imran Khan said it is better to drop nuclear bomb on Pakistan, he also asked people to start civil disobedience movement and send money through hundii,” he said.

Political leaders of other parties too have denounced the statement of PTI chairman saying that Khan is bent upon destroying Pakistan. They said Khan has ruined the economy of the country when he was in power, now he is trying to create anarchy and civil war because he is not in the government though removed in a democratic way through no-confidence.
