Gunmen opened fire on a vehicle carrying Indian musician Sidhu Moosewalla and an unnamed acquaintance at point-blank range in a hamlet of Mansa district on Sunday.

424 individuals, including the singer, were left unprotected when the cops escorting them were taken away. According to the authorities, the shooting seemed to result from a gang fight between rival gangs.
“The Lawrence Bishnoi gang carried this murder out”.
Punjab DGP VK Bhawra informed reporters that a member of the group has accepted responsibility from Canada, which is fortunate. In addition, they have assembled a special investigative team to look into the occurrence.
Messages of condolences are flooding in.
The Indian film industry was quick to respond to the news of Moosewalla’s death by sending sympathy messages to his family.
“Really surprising n very sad, a brilliant artist n a lovely person being, may God provide the strength to his family,” Indian comedian and actor Kapil Sharma tweeted.
The Congress party, meanwhile, expressed sorrow over the occurrence and called it a “sad shock.”
