Karachi: 45 Percent COVID-19 POSITIVITY RATIO

Karachi’s COVID-19 positive rate has surpassed 45 percent and presently stands at 46.58 percent, according to the provincial health department.

KARACHI: On Friday, it has been reported that the COVID-19 positivity ratio has increased alarmingly in Sindh’s two largest cities, Karachi and Hyderabad.

A total of 3,149 of the 6,760 samples tested in the last 24 hours were found to be positive for the dangerous virus.

According to the Sindh health officials, the positive ratio in Hyderabad has risen to 17.27 percent. In the last 24 hours, 1,401 tests were conducted in the second-largest city of Sindh. The COVID-19 was positive in 242 people.

COVID-19 has been found in 15 judges and 58 court employees in Islamabad’s district courts earlier today.

While Pakistan has registered 7,678 COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, the greatest single-day increase since the epidemic began in 2020, Pakistani health officials are concerned.

According to the NCOC, a total of 59,343 samples were examined, with a positivity percentage of 12.93% as opposed to yesterday’s 11.55 percent, of which 7,678 were found to be positive.

There have already been 1,353,479 confirmed cases across the country because of recent cases being discovered.
