ISLAMABAD: National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) head Asad Umar said so far about 87.5 million Pakistanis have got at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
In a Twitter statement issued today, NCOC head said 60 million people have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Urging the masses to get themselves vaccinated, the planning and development minister said, โWith arrival of Omicron variant there is a need forย vaccinationย of those people who have either got on dose or still were unvaccinated.โ
The NCOC had also announced booster jab for people aged 50 and above with the condition that there must be a six months gap between the second dose and booster shot.
Meanwhile, Murtaza Wahab, the Sindh governmentโs spokesperson and Karachi administrator, took to Twitter to share data on the number of people vaccinated in Sindh province so far.
โA total of 26,611,684 people have been vaccinated in Sindh. Out of this 9,682,197 have received both the doses while 16,929,487 have received their first dose,โ he tweeted today. Murtaza urged the unvaccinated people to come forward and get vaccinated at the earliest.
