ISLAMABAD: The United States has evacuated about 3,000 more people from Afghanistanโs Kabul airport, bringingย the US evacuations tally to about 9,000 since August 14.

Meanwhile, rights group Amnesty International has published a report, accusing the Taliban of killing nine ethnic Hazara men in Ghazni after the groupโs takeover of the province last month.
The Taliban, nonetheless, have rejected the western propaganda and allowed people to leave Afghanistan according to their aspirations. The Taliban spokesman said the new government did not impose any restrictions on people who want to leave the country on their own.

Spokesperson Shabia Mantoo reiterated its call to neighbouring countries to keep their borders open in light to allow people to seek asylum in light of what she called the โevolving crisisโ.
โUNHCR remains concerned about the risk of human rights violations against civilians in this evolving context, including women and girls,โ she told a Geneva news briefing.
Germanyโs foreign ministry is providing 100 millionย euros ($116m) in emergency aid for Afghan refugees,ย that is to support international aid organisations helping Afghanย refugees in neighbouring countries, a minister says.
