ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority has expanded access to key citizen services by extending operations to an additional 1,000 e-Sahulat franchises across Pakistan. As a result, services are now available at around 3,000 centres nationwide.
According to a spokesperson, the expanded facilities include issuance of B-Forms for children up to 10 years of age, renewal of national identity cards, issuance of duplicate cards in case of loss, and cancellation of identity cards of deceased individuals. These services aim to streamline processes and improve accessibility for citizens.
Moreover, the initiative covers multiple districts, including Islamabad, as well as major urban centres such as Karachi, Lahore, Hyderabad, Peshawar, and Quetta. Additionally, services now extend to a wide range of districts across Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said the move is intended to bring essential registration services closer to the public while reducing pressure on NADRA offices. Consequently, citizens can access facilities more conveniently without long wait times.
Meanwhile, NADRA has also warned citizens about fraudulent websites impersonating its official platforms to steal personal information. The authority urged the public to remain vigilant and verify website authenticity before sharing sensitive data.
Furthermore, NADRA clarified that Pakistanโs online visa services are available only through its official portal, stressing that applications must be submitted via the authorised website to avoid scams.
