Kuwait City: The military authorities in Kuwait have arrested the Kuwaiti Air Force Pilot, named the “Ghost of Kuwait” on charges of ‘criminal negligence’ here Tuesday. it may be recalled that the start of the US offensive against Iran on February 28, 2026, the following day USAF F-15s were reported shot down over the Kuwaiti airspace apparently due to ‘friendly fire’. On March 6, 2026, a similar incident was repeated and was recorded right over the residential district of Kuwait City, clearly showing a KAF FA-18 engaging and locking a USAF F-15; which was eventually shot down and the two seaters pilot and weapon delivery person ejected. In the aviation circles there has been a mystery over all the listed episodes. The charges and the arrest points at deliberate act on part of the KAF combat pilot.
