Shooting at Beverly Crest Home
A calm Sunday afternoon in Beverly Hills turned frightening when gunfire erupted outside Rihanna’s home. Authorities reported that a woman drove up and fired multiple rounds from an AR‑15-style rifle. At the time, Rihanna and her family were inside the house.
Police arrived quickly at around 1:15 p.m. after receiving reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. Four bullets or fragments hit parts of the property. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Rihanna, 37, remained unharmed during the attack. It is still unclear whether her partner, A$AP Rocky, or the couple’s three children—RZA, Riot Rose, and Rocki—were inside at the time.
Suspect Arrested and Investigation Underway
Police detained the suspect, described as a woman in her early 30s, without further incident. Officers recovered the weapon used in the shooting. The LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division is now leading the investigation.
Authorities have not yet released the suspect’s name. Police Captain Mike Bland said that booking details and additional information would be shared soon. Investigators are also working to understand the motive behind the attack.
This incident comes amid a tense period for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky. Earlier this year, Rocky was acquitted in a widely publicized trial involving an alleged gun incident with a former friend.
Despite the frightening events, Rihanna’s family emerged physically safe, and authorities continue to examine the case closely.
