Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan remains in stable condition and is recovering at Lilavati Hospital after suffering a minor brain haemorrhage earlier this week, family sources confirmed on Thursday.
Doctors admitted the father of superstar Salman Khan under immediate medical supervision and administered prompt treatment. Medical staff stabilised his condition and continue to monitor his recovery closely. According to hospital sources, he remains in the intensive care unit as a precaution but is responding well.
Earlier updates from Dr. Jaleel Parkar indicated that doctors placed Salim Khan on ventilator support temporarily as a preventive measure. However, they described his overall condition as stable.
Meanwhile, actor Aamir Khan visited the family to inquire about the veteran writerโs health. Speaking to the media at a recent event, he expressed cautious optimism.
โI went to meet Salim Sahab, and we are all praying that he recovers soon. Since he is in the ICU, I couldnโt meet him personally but sat with the family,โ Aamir said.
He added that Salim Khanโs daughter, Alvira, has been providing reassuring updates. According to Aamir, the family has observed steady improvement in his condition and hopes he will return home soon.
Similarly, actress Daisy Shah shared positive news, stating that the senior writerโs health has improved consistently. Although she has not visited the hospital, she said she remains in contact with Salman Khan and the family.
At the same time, family members have appealed for privacy during this period. Sources close to the Khans said they consider health matters deeply personal and do not plan to release additional medical details.
