National Event Scheduled for February in Federal Capital
The Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation has officially announced the Mr. Pakistan 2026 Bodybuilding Championship. The prestigious national event will be held in Islamabad from February 14 to 15, 2026. The competition will take place in the Capital Zone of the federal capital and is expected to attract top athletes from across the country.
According to the federation, the championship will be fully sponsored by the Pakistan Sports Board. The event also has full backing from the Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Program, highlighting strong institutional support. Officials believe the support will help promote bodybuilding and fitness culture nationwide.
The federation said Islamabad was chosen due to its modern facilities and central location. Organisers expect a large turnout of athletes, officials, and spectators. The event is being positioned as one of the biggest bodybuilding competitions in Pakistan.
PBBF Declares Sole Authority for Mr. Pakistan Title
The Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation reiterated that it is the only officially affiliated and recognised bodybuilding body in Pakistan. The federation stated that it alone has the legal authority to award the prestigious Mr. Pakistan title. This clarification was issued to avoid confusion among athletes and fans.
The winner of the Mr. Pakistan 2026 title will earn the right to represent Pakistan in international bodybuilding competitions. The champion will also be eligible to compete abroad through the PBBF platform. The federation said international exposure remains a key goal of the championship.
The PBBF has invited all affiliated provincial associations and institutions to participate. Each association has been instructed to nominate its best athletes. Officials said the selection process should ensure high competition standards and fair representation.
Multiple Categories to Feature Men, Women, and Masters
The championship will feature a wide range of competitive categories. Miss Fitness 2026 will include a Womenโs Fitness Open Category. This category aims to promote womenโs participation in fitness and bodybuilding events.
Junior Mr. Pakistan 2026 will be contested in two weight divisions. These include athletes weighing up to 75 kilograms and those above 75 kilograms. The junior category is expected to showcase emerging talent from across Pakistan.
The Master Mr. Pakistan 2026 segment will feature athletes over the age of 50 and over 60. This category highlights lifelong fitness and dedication to bodybuilding. It continues to grow in popularity every year.
Menโs Sports Physique 2026 will be divided into height categories of 165 cm, 170 cm, and 175 cm. Menโs Athletic Physique and Classic Physique events will also include multiple height and weight divisions. These categories aim to cover all major bodybuilding disciplines.
The PBBF confirmed that detailed rules and category information have already been shared. Further updates will be released through official social media channels. Athletes have been advised to follow the federation online for timely announcements.
The federation also confirmed that 26 bodybuilders from Karachi will take part in the championship. More participants from other regions are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
