ISLAMABAD: The Inter-Services Public Relations today released a new song paying tribute to the armed forces for their sacrifices in defending the country. Titled “Through Storms and Sacrifice,” the song highlights the demanding nature of military service and portrays the determination, courage, and unwavering sense of duty displayed by soldiers in the line of duty.
Through powerful lyrics and visuals, the song reflects the challenges faced by troops while guarding the nation’s borders in harsh environments. It shows soldiers stationed in valleys and on mountain tops, enduring extreme weather conditions while remaining steadfast in their mission. The visuals aim to underline the resilience required to serve in some of the country’s most difficult terrains.
Role in relief operations emphasised
In addition to defence duties, the song places strong emphasis on the armed forces’ role during natural disasters and emergencies. The video features scenes of soldiers conducting rescue and relief operations across different regions, often in treacherous conditions. It shows troops assisting civilians, evacuating affected families, and delivering aid during floods, snowfall, and other calamities.
According to the military’s media wing, the Pakistan Army has consistently met the nation’s expectations on every front. The release of the song coincides with ongoing rescue and relief operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Tirah area, where security forces are assisting families evacuating amid difficult conditions.
Meanwhile, heavy snowfall continues to disrupt life in several northern regions, including Murree, Tirah, Chilas, Quetta, and nearby areas. As a result, the armed forces remain engaged in efforts to help stranded tourists and residents, working alongside civil authorities to restore access and provide emergency support.
The song aims to recognise these efforts and reinforce public appreciation for the armed forces’ continued service in both defence and humanitarian roles.
