The understanding emerged during delegation-level talks held in Islamabad. Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met Myanmar’s Union Minister for Foreign Affairs Than Swe.
Officials described the discussions as productive and comprehensive. They emphasized the need for results-oriented engagement going forward.
Focus on Multi-Sectoral Cooperation
Pakistan and Myanmar expressed a strong desire to expand cooperation across diverse areas. These include religious tourism, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people contacts.
