Public Mobile is shaking up the Canadian prepaid market with a rare promotion: a two-year price guarantee on its newest plans for new customers. The Telus-owned carrier is running a flash sale until January 26, offering prices slashed by 50% for a 24-month period.

By offering a 24-month price guarantee, Public Mobile aims to secure long-term customer loyalty while remaining contract-free, meaning users can switch providers after the promotional period ends. This move also positions Public Mobile competitively against Rogers-owned Chatr and Bell-owned Lucky Mobile while helping Telus manage churn rates.
This strategy follows Telus’ broader pricing approach; last June, the company launched a five-year price guarantee for other brands. Now, Public Mobile prepaid customers can enjoy similar long-term savings, albeit over two years.
