Reasons for Lower Pass Percentages
Faizullah Khan Lone, Director General of the School Education Department G-B, explained that stricter passing criteria contributed to lower percentages.
-
Mandatory minimum 40% marks for passing
-
Elimination of grace marks
These measures aim to improve academic standards and address declining pass rates in grades 9 and 10. Lone added, “InshanAllah, things will be better in the future.”
